The client was wasting far too much time and money trying to manage and maintain their computer system themselves.
Whenever a problem occurred they’d call a technician. Then they’d wait, sometimes longer than two hours without any assurance that the problem could actually be fixed when the technician finally turned up.
They continually forgot to update their antivirus, and their backups and virus scan were only run when someone was not too busy.

The client had several servers for their email, files, video surveillance, accounting, and customer relationship management services which needed to be replaced because:
The prospect of spending $100,000 on several new machines was causing management to delay this necessary upgrade and just put up with the problems.
We introduced three high powered servers (1 for email and 2 for their other services) with server virtualisation. This means that each service can now run on its own virtual server which eliminates speed and reliability issues.
We also ensured that if one of the physical server device stops working, the other server can pick up the slack without interrupting the other services.
The client now has the latest in high-power server technology at a fraction of the cost. There’s no more down time due to overwhelmed services because even if one of the servers fails the other server takes over and the clients' employees can continue to work without interruption.
Client: A leading international fashion & industrial clothing distributor
The client had been blacklisted and their emails were not being received by several key business partners and their bank.
This happened because their antivirus and antimalware solution had failed to block malicious software from being installed on a workstation. This software then set about sending out 10,000 emails a day around the world. They had become, without realising it, a spammer.
Our managed email security service put in measures to prevent any further spam being sent out and acted to ensure their blacklisting status was removed.
We then introduced a more comprehensive antivirus strategy to further protect them against malicious software.
